Frequently Asked Questions

Menopause has been stigmatized, unexplored, and underappreciated for thousands of years.

Women's ideas and experiences with menopause are often told in secret, with shame, or through the lens of the patriarchal structures that form our culture.

Future generations of women deserve better. You deserve better.

If you're ready to quit the quick fix mindset and embrace menopause so you can make educated choices about your health and future, then my Mastering Menopause program is for you.

Question 1: What does it mean to Master Menopause?

Mastering menopause means not fighting the inevitable, but embracing it. Mastering menopause means being proactive about the choices you make to maintain or improve your health and well being during a transformative time.

Do you want to grit your teeth and hope for the best, or do you want clear and actionable steps that you can take today to give you the best chance at staying healthy and independent with greater peace of mind?

Sure, past generations survived. Our great-grandmas made it through menopause and you will, too. Do you ever wonder, where are their stories? Where are their voices? Mastering menopause gives you a voice.

The transformative time of menopause is an amazing opportunity to let go of past narratives and limiting beliefs around nutrition, fitness, health, and overall well being. My Mastering Menopause program can help you take advantage of this transition.

Question 2: How does the program work?

The Mastering Menopause is a 6 month program consisting of 3 phases:

Phase One: The NEVERDAY Diet. This phase all about personalization, assessment and customization. In this phase, we prioritize your most bothersome menopause symptoms, identify your goals and non-negotiables, establish baselines for nutrition, movement, sleep, hydration, and stress. Using curiosity, compassion, and an objective eye, you'll be able to embrace a new confidence and greater sense of control. You'll feel ready to talk to your doctor and family about what menopause is like for you, and how they can help you get through this transformative time.

Phase Two: Implementation. Not everyone wants to lose weight, and that's ok! Maybe you want to prevent weight gain during menopause, or perhaps you know it's time to get serious about strength training. Whatever YOUR goals are, Phase Two is where you will implement the strategies you've learned in Phase One.

Phase Three: Aftercare. By this phase, you should feel ready to take on the world without me and in honor of that, we'll set the stage and game plan to handle the impending plateau so you can avoid any setbacks.

The Mastering Menopause program is made for you, because every woman's experience with menopause is different. Each phase of the program has clear expectations for you to track your progress so you will be fully engaged and prepared to move along through the program at your own speed.

The program was designed to answer questions about menopause and how this transformation changes your needs and priorities. It's my goal to provide you with a solid foundation, actionable steps, and a realistic plan to make choices that align with your vision for your future.

Question 3: My mom and grandma didn't seem to have any problems with menopause. Why should I care?

Your mom and grandma didn't have any problems that you knew about. More often than not, women got the message that this transition is not something that should be addressed or mentioned.

Historically, medical care and research has focused on men. Women's healthcare and well being has always been secondary. Even today, finding a qualified physician who is knowledgeable about menopause can be challenging. The lack of information around menopause is harmful to women's health and well being.

My Mastering Menopause program provides a community to engage with other women who are experiencing menopause right along with you. The program also provides resources and suggestions for finding competent physicians and a wide range of questions to bring them so you can advocate for yourself and feel heard in a time that can feel chaotic.

But, really, you don't HAVE to care about menopause. You could muddle through menopause like your third great aunt. You may just be perpetuating the stigma for younger generations, but you can manage menopause by yourself like millions of other women.

I think you deserve better than muddling through and it's never too late to make meaningful changes. This is where coaching can help!

I believe mastering menopause is one of the most underrated and primal ways for women to assert their right to healthcare and autonomy. Now or never. Wouldn't it be nice to be done with quick fixes that never seem to last?

If you care about making the menopause transition easier for women in the future like I do, they you should care about Mastering Menopause.

Question 4: There has to be a catch. What's the cost?

The catch? That's up to you. The most successful people on the planet have help. The most successful people on the planet have help because they invest in themselves. You have to believe you're worth it. You are!

I know there's a fear of past failures, or a fear that time committed to yourself will negatively impact your family. Maybe you've spent thousands of dollars over the years just to find yourself confronted with menopause and a whole new relationship with your mind and body. What you've been doing doesn't work anymore.

You know, the stories we tell ourselves aren't always true but we don't know any other stories to tell. We can rewrite our own narrative anytime we want.

Menopause is one of those fork in the road defining times of our lives.

If you've gotten this far, we should talk.

You could spin your wheels for the next 6 months, being anxious and wondering why doing the same thing isn't working and you're so stressed out, or you can invest the time NOW to schedule your free call with me!

You're not committing to the program by scheduling a call, you're investing in your curiosity and desire for a healthy future. That's a win!

I want to know what you're experiencing. I want you to know you're not alone. I'd love to tell you more about the program so you can decide what's best for your future.

The fitness, nutrition, and wellness industries can be loud and overwhelming. We've been bombarded by conflicting information for decades. Know why? Those industries are made for themselves, not for you.

When it comes to understanding the impact that menopause has on your metabolism? The silence is deafening.

This isn't your fault.

I've created the Mastering Menopause program so you can use the menopause transition to your advantage and finally tune out the noise and tune back into yourself.
